The AC power cord has a three-prong female connector on one end. This connector must be
plugged into the mating connector at the rear of the printer.

A standard US-style, three-prong grounded male plug is attached to the other end of the AC
power cord. This connector must be plugged into a nearby electrical outlet.

An AC power cord may or may not be included with the printer. For those locations that cannot
use either of the three power cords listed below, a proper grounded AC power cord must be
obtained and installed by the user. See Figure 2-2. The cable must then be plugged into a
nearby electrical outlet.
