Change Caret
The ^CC, ~CC (Change Caret) instruction is used to change the for-
mat instruction prefix. The default prefix is the caret (^).
The format for the ^CC, ~CC instruction is:
^CCx, ~CCx
where
^CC, ~CC = Change Caret
x = Any ASCII Character
Default value: Parameter is required. If none is
used, the next character received is the new pre-
fix character.
NOTE 1: ^ and ~ are interchangeable only on the CC command.
NOTE 2: Do not set any of the values to the same value as another
prefix.
