LOGMARS Bar Code
The ^BL (LOGMARS) bar code instruction is a special application of
Code 39 used by the Department of Defense (DOD). LOGMARS is
an acronym for Logistics Applications of Automated Marking and
Reading Symbols.
Print Ratios Supported: 2.0:1 to 3.0:1.
^FD (Field Data) Limitations: 100+ characters. Actual amount of
data depends on ^BY ratio and width (length if rotated) of label.
For more information, refer to a LOGMARS bar code specification.
NOTE: The LOGMARS bar code produces a “mandatory” check
digit using MOD-43 calculations. For further information, refer to
Appendix D.
