ip.addr
type: getvar; setvar
This parameter refers to the IP address of the printer. The DHCP setting (“ip.dhcp.enable” parameter)
must be “off” to change the printer’s IP address.
getvar result The printer’s IP address
Example
Description Instructs the printer to respond with its current IP address
Syntax ! U1 getvar “ip.addr” “10.14.4.159”
Result
setvar choices
Any valid IP address
Default 0.0.0.0
Example
Description Instructs the printer to change its IP address to 10.14.4.235
Syntax ! U1 setvar “ip.addr” “10.14.4.235”
Result The IP address will change to10.14.4.235 upon cycling the power
or issuing the device.reset command is issued
card.inserted
type: getvar
This parameter indicates whether the wireless radio card is or is not inserted.
getvar result
Example
Description This parameter instructs the printer to respond with the wireless
radio card status, i.e. inserted or not inserted
Syntax ! U1 getvar “card.inserted”
Result “Inserted”
