Patient information management: Hospitals and other healthcare facilities can use the G-Series to manage a
variety of data labeling and tracking requirements. G-Series printers are ideal for nurses’ stations, clinics and
laboratories to fulfill barcode labeling needs such as for vial tubes and specimens, and pharmacy labels.
The G-series brings a number of critical benefits to the healthcare industry, notably the ability to be networked
(via the internal ZebraNet PrintServer II) and remote administered using ZebraLink. Additionally, the compact
size and footprint is vital as space is limited in hospital and lab environments. Desktop printers offer the cost
effective ‘multiple printers, multiple locations’ advantage, meaning that they can be placed in many different
areas of a hospital, exactly at the point of use.

9 Ethernet connectivity with internal ZebraNet PrintServer II allows integration with the hospital
network.
9 ZebraLink remote management allows printers to be controlled and monitored from a central location
– not necessarily onsite.
9 Compact footprint is vital for saving space in cramped areas such as nurses’ stations and admissions
desks.
9 Desktop printer offers value for money and the right print volume to printer size ratio – a mid-range
would be too big and a waste of space. Can be placed in many locations throughout the hospital.
9 Easy to load and use means that very little printer training is required of medical personnel
9 Very low maintenance requirements.
